Does wearing a life jacket to the cinema float your boat? How about the glamour of having food and drinks delivered straight to your spot on the water by someone on a jet-ski?
From December 2020 to February 2021, movie buffs will get to experience their favourite films while bobbing in the ripples of the water as part of the Mov’in Boat Floating Cinema, a new silver screen experience sailing into Darling Harbour.
Featuring xm, this unique pop-up event will consist of 40 row boats for hire, 75 lounge beds and two separate floating bars. On shore, there will be a 15-metre, 4k screen with 30 surround sound speakers showing cinema classics and brand new blockbusters.
We’re so keen to try out this new nautical movie night — as long as there isn’t a showing of the movie “Jaws”!
